I have been interested in photography for a long time but a few years ago started to concentrate on taking black and white images. For this work I use film.

I love the unexpected affect achieved with lith printing and other alternative processes which cannot be identically repeated. My subject matter is usually placed in the countryside but can include places showing man’s influence on the landscape.

I quite often take macro shots particularly if I am having a bad day with larger subjects. Our grandchildren too are portrayed in monochrome which gives the photograph a timeless charm.
